OnePlus 7 Review

OnePlus-7

The OnePlus is known for its value for money devices with a stellar performance. This one seems to be no exception with its amazing screen, beefed up specs and superb cameras. Gaming and multitasking is a breeze on this phone, so is media consumption with that beautiful screen. Cameras take great photos and battery easily lasts long with warp refilling it quickly. It does not have any expandable storage option but the inbuilt space is huge.
A flagship killer

Display and Camera

The OnePlus 7 has a glass sandwich design with a rounded metal frame. This makes it comfortable to hold. Unlike the OnePlus 7 Pro, the OnePlus 7's display does not have curved edges. This is a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED panel that puts out a Full-HD+ resolution (1080x2340) and also has an in-display fingerprint scanner. This is a similar implementation as the OnePlus 6T and uses a CMOS sensor under the display, but the company says it works quicker.
The display has good color reproduction and gets bright enough when outdoors. You can change the color profile from Natural to Vivid, or choose between the NTSC, sRGB, and DCI-P3 color gamuts. An option to tweak the color balance is also available. This panel doesn't have a 90Hz refresh rate or QHD+ resolution
On the camera department, the OnePlus 7 boasts a dual primary camera setup having 48MP + 5MP resolution lenses, which can capture excellent pictures covering a wide area. The cameras are capable of 4K video recording at 60 fps. The 16MP front shooter with screen flash is present to take care of your selfie needs.

Battery and Configuration

On the battery department, OnePlus 7 carries a 3,700mAh Li-ion battery with fast charging support.
Under the hood, an octa-core processor is having a clock speed of 2.84GHz. The processors are accompanied by a 6GB RAM that delivers a quality performance while running multiple tasks. Moreover, an Adreno 640 GPU handles the graphical needs of the system. The entire configuration is seated on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset.

Storage and Connectivity

This smartphone stocks a 128GB non-expandable storage, which is good for the price.
On the connectivity front, 4G LTE and VoLTE, Wi-Fi and the latest Bluetooth v5.0 are available. Location is A-GPS and Glonass based. Supports NFC and comes with USB Type-C.

OnePlus-7

OnePlus 7 is one of the very few smartphones using the Snapdragon 855 in India at the moment, it does not have a lot of competition to deal with. If you don't care very much about camera performance, the OnePlus 7 is well worth considering for its asking price. However, with the launch of the ASUS 6Z and the Redmi K20 lined up, you might want to wait a little while to see what these upcoming phones have to offer
